      Died June 10, 1872 at age 68y 18d, of Mortification. He was married, a blacksmith, born Monson, son of Joisah, born Monson and Lucy, born No. Brookfield.

      Born Monson, Ma. He was a Blacksmith who settled in Brookfield. In 1848, he was a member of the commitee which considered division of Brookfield and formation of West Brookfield. He belonged to the Congregational Church and was an overseer of the poor for the town of West Brookfield.
      He married 16 Sept. 1829, Emily Wood. She was born Feb. 26, 1805 and died Feb. 19, 1873.
